The National Information Center for Children and Youth with Disabilities (NICHCY) is the national information and referral center that provides information on disabilities and disability-related issues for families, educators, and other professionals. Our special focus is children and youth from birth to age 22. NH Blindness And Visually Impaired is a resource for children and adults as well as their families and professionals in the New Hampshire area. Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man This database is a catalog of human genes and genetic disorders authored and edited by Dr. Victor A. McKusick and his colleagues at Johns Hopkins and elsewhere. The site was developed for the World Wide Web by NCBI, the National Center for Biotechnology Information. The database contains textual information, pictures, and reference information. It also contains copious links to NCBI's Entrez database of MEDLINE articles and sequence information.V.I. Guide is a web site that contains information on many topics pertaining to parenting and teaching a child with visual impairments. These are sites that have information related to albinism or visual impairment. If you have a site that you would like to see added, please let us know.
