The Association for Education and Rehabilitation for the Blind and Visually Impaired.   This web site lists colleges and universities within the United States, Canada and other countries that offer programs in teaching students who are blind/visually impaired or deaf/blind.

Healthfinder is a gateway consumer health and human services information web site from the United States government. Healthfinder® can lead you to selected online publications, clearinghouses,
databases, web sites, as well as support and self-help groups, government agencies and not-for-profit organizations that produce reliable information for the public.

The Low Vision Gateway is a list of low-vision related links and resources.

The National Information Center for Children and Youth with Disabilities (NICHCY) is the national information and referral center that provides information on disabilities and disability-related issues for families, educators, and other professionals. Our special focus is children and youth from birth to age 22. 

NH Blindness And Visually Impaired is a resource for children and adults as well as their families and professionals in the New Hampshire area.

Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man This database is a catalog of human genes and genetic disorders authored and edited by Dr. Victor A. McKusick and his colleagues at Johns Hopkins and elsewhere. The site was developed for the World Wide Web by NCBI, the National Center for Biotechnology Information. The database contains textual information, pictures, and reference information. It also contains copious links to NCBI's Entrez database of MEDLINE articles and sequence information.

V.I. Guide is a web site that contains information on many topics pertaining to parenting and teaching a child with visual impairments.
