Through the support of the 2010 Delaware Teacher of the Year, Mary Pinkston. Mary's previous encounter with a former student with albinism and a meeting with Dan Oates at Space Camp prompted the donation of the scholarship. Mary is excited about the possibility of a student from Delaware applying for the scholarship.

Students who are eligible for services for the visually impaired or who are members of the NOAH organization are eligible to compete for the scholarship. A diagnosis of albinism is required for this scholarship. All children with albinism are encouraged to apply but preference will be given to families with NOAH membership.
