FYI – Survey Opportunity
NOAH has joined with many other organizations and companies in a collaborative project to collect data and information about the experiences of adults who are blind or have low vision during the COVID-19 pandemic. The goal is to understand how the COVID-19 pandemic is impacting the lives of adults with visual impairments and to identify solutions for these challenges. This survey is open to anyone over age 18 with a visual impairment in the United States through 8 am ET on April 13. If you’d like to participate or learn more, visit:

Freedom Scientific Free Resources
Freedom Scientific, a leading worldwide brand of assistive technology products for those with vision impairments, is offering their software in addition to educational webinars free of charge through the end of June.

USABA – United We Move
If you’re interested in joining a friendly and competitive community to help you stay active during these trying times, check out the United States Association of Blind Athletes United We Move Program – a group fitness program for blind and visually impaired athletes of all ages and abilities across the country.

Using Fitbit activity trackers, participants engage in challenges, fitness tracking and receive online videos created by three-time goalball Paralympian Tyler Merren. If you do not own a Fitbit wearable, USABA will ship you one when you register! The program fee is just $10 and will be open until April 20 or until the limited supply of Fitbits runs out.
