Rate Details

The discounted attendee room rate of $134/night plus tax/fees (approximately $160.03) single/double occupancy, $144/night plus tax/fees triple occupancy (approximately $171.83), and $154/night plus tax/fees quad occupancy (approximately $183.63), is only available to registered conference attendees. After registration closes, NOAH will reconcile registered attendees against the group rooming list to confirm with the hotel those eligible to receive the discounted attendee rate – others will be charged the rack rate.

Adjoining Guest Rooms

An alternative for those requiring additional space at an affordable rate is adjoining guest rooms ($268/night plus tax/fees). If you are booking through the online portal, please book two guest rooms, add the request for adjoining rooms in the special request notes, then forward your confirmation email to laubrey@3.19.125.119 noting your request for adjoining rooms. On a first come, first served basis, NOAH’s group rooms coordinator at the hotel will then pre-block the adjoining rooms for our attendees. If reserving by phone, please make the request for adjoining rooms, but do follow-up with an email as described above so that we may verify that the request can be met. Please note that the configuration of available adjoining rooms is such that a two double bed room attaches to a king room. If two double bed rooms are required, adjacent rooms could be requested but they will not be adjoining.

Reservation Deadline

The cut-off date for reserving rooms in the group block is 5:00pm CT on June 27, 2018.

Early Departure Fee

The hotel charges an early departure fee of $75.00 to guests who check out prior to their checkout date confirmed at check in.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel by 6:00 PM hotel time two days prior to arrival, there will be no forfeiture amount. If you cancel after 6:00 PM hotel time two days prior to arrival, the forfeiture amount will be a 1-night stay.

Credit Card Installment Payments
To help make the conference accessible to as many participants as possible, NOAH is pleased to once again offer the option of three, pre-authorized credit card installment payments for conference fees. If you wish to pay by installment, please complete the conference registration selecting “I will pay later”. Upon receipt of your registration confirmation, navigate to the Installment Payment page and set up your installment payments. Calculate your monthly payment by taking the total registration fee listed on your receipt, divided by 3, then rounded up to the nearest dollar. For example, installment payments for a $185 registration would be $62 each – $185 / 3 = $61.66, which rounds up to $62. On the installment payment page, you would enter the installment payment amount $62, for a total of 3 payments, for a total payment amount of $186. The first payment will be taken immediately, and the remaining two payments on the same day in subsequent months. Installment payments initiated March 1st will be taken on March 1st, April 1st and May 1st, as an example. Last installment payment will be taken on July 10th for installments initiated on or after May 10th.

Written refund requests are subject to a 9% processing fee and the following receipt deadlines:
By 5/14/18 – all fees
By 5/31/18 – 50%
After 5/31/18 – no refunds

Conference Funding

We would like EVERYONE in and around the albinism community to be able to attend the 2018 National Conference. However, we know many people could use some help with travel and conference expenses. To help, we’ve created the following Funding Sources Information Packet. We hope the information provided is informative and useful, and it helps in receiving any necessary funding to attend the National Conference. This information is meant to be a starting point for you to find funding sources, but it is, by no means, an exhaustive list. When your funding search is complete, please let us know how you did. NOAH 2018 Conference Personal Grants

NOAH has a limited budget for conference personal grants. The Personal Grant Program helps those who, without assistance, would not be able to afford to attend the conference. Those who live nearest to the conference, and those who have never attended a conference before will receive priority for financial assistance. Applicants must contribute to the cost of attendance — the Personal Grant Program will not fund the full cost of attendance.

The 2018 Conference Personal Grant Application period is open.

Applicants are strongly encouraged to seek additional support as described in the Funding Sources Information Packet prior to applying for a personal grant.

Applications received after February 23rd are being reviewed on a rolling basis – limited funding is still available.
