Meet the 2019 Leadership Scholarship Winner
Congratulations to Trisha Laughlin, the 2019 recipient of the Michael J. McGowan Leadership Scholarship Award! Trisha is a rising sophomore nursing student at Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts, where her instructors praise her leadership acumen as reflecting passion, empathy, and social engagement.
Trisha has been part of NOAH her entire life, having attended her first NOAH conference at just three months of age. Most recently, at her 10th consecutive national conference, Trisha volunteered as a crew leader with the 6th-9th-grade students. Having previously served as a junior counselor at the 2017 NOAH Family Summer Camp, this summer Trisha graduates to the role of Camp Counselor.
We are delighted to share that Trisha’s future aspirations include serving on NOAH’s Board of Directors.
