Christie is an adult with albinism.  She has been involved with NOAH since a very young age and attended her first NOAH conference in 1994.  Since then, Christie has also been active within NOAH’s New York Metro Area chapter and the Hermansky Pudlak Syndrome Network.

Christie earned her B.A. in Political Science from Duke University, during which time she studied in the Czech Republic and Russia.  She then earned her J.D. magna cum laude from Fordham University School of Law.  Christie is a corporate attorney at a Wall Street law firm, where she advises large companies on significant corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, initial public offerings, and restructurings.   In addition, Christie has extensive pro bono legal experience working with not-for-profit organizations on their ongoing legal needs as well as public school students who are not being provided with reasonable educational accommodations.  Prior to joining her law firm, Christie was an intern with the Securities and Exchange Commission, a federal judge in the Southern District of New York, and Lawyers for Alliance New York.  

When not practicing law, Christie enjoys competing in triathlons, distance running, rooftops, and making homemade pasta.  She lives in New York City, but travels as much as possible, with recent adventures including Morocco, Colombia, Sweden, and Belize.
